Whipped Potatoes

This isn't really a recipe but rather a different method of cooking regular 'mashed' potatoes. Instead of mashing, using an electric stand mixer whips the potatoes until light and fluffy.

Ingredients:

5 large russet potatoes, peels and cubed

2 tbsp of butter

3/4 cup of milk, warmed

salt and pepper

Directions:

Step 1: In a large pot, add the cubed potatoes and cover with cold water. Over high heat, bring to a boil, without the cover on and cook until a knife goes through the potato easily.

Step 2: Drain the potatoes and add to the stand mixer bowl. Add the butter and place the paddle attachment on. Mix on low for a few seconds, then seasoning generously with salt and pepper. Slowly add the warmed milk. When combined, raise the speed the mixer and whip the potatoes until there is no clumps and the potatoes are fluffy.

Step 3: Serve immediately.
