Serves 15-20

Ingredients:

1 lb of lean ground beef

1 package of Taco seasoning (Old El Paso 35 grams)

1/2 cup of water

1 cup of sour cream

1 cup of shredded Mozzarella

1/2 green pepper, chopped

2 green onions, chopped

1/2 large bottle of salsa (roughly 325 mL)

Directions:

Step 1: In a large frying pan, add beef. Cook on medium-hi heat. When cooked, roughly 10 minutes, drain excess liquid and drain meat on paper towel. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Step 2: Put beef back into the pan, lower the heat to medium-low, add package of taco seasoning, and 1/2 cup of water. Mix together. When water is absorbed, add salsa and mix.

Step 3: Put beef mixture in a casserole dish and spread sour cream on top over the beef. Add the shredded mozzarella. Top with chopped green onions and green pepper. Cover the top with tin foil

Step 4: Cook for 1 hour, then take off the tin foil and put to broil for a minute until the cheese is nice and golden.

Serve with nachos.
