Makes 35 meatballs Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs of lean ground beef 1/2 cup crushed crackers 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp garlic salt 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Black pepper 2/3 cup water 1 cup sugar 1/3 cup vinegar 1/3 cup of ketchup 2 tbsp cornstarch water Directions: Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 F. Mix together the meat, crackers, egg, pepper, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce. Make small balls with your hands and place on a baking sheet. Step 2: Place
meatballs in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven,
place meatballs on paper towel to remove excess fat and grease. Step 3: To make the sauce, combine the water, sugar, vinegar and ketchup together in a sauce pot, bring to a light boil. Stir frequently to dissolve the sugar. In a small bowl, add the cornstarch to 1/3 cup of water, mix well. Whisk this into the sauce and let thicken. Step 4: Put the meatballs in a casserole dish, pour the sauce all over the meatballs and cook in the oven, at 350 F, for another 20-25 minutes.
