Salmon on Cedar Plank

This really isn't a recipe but I thought I'd share how to prepare the best salmon ever on the BBQ with a cedar plank.

Step 1: Take your cedar plank and submerge it in water for at least 4 hours (if the plank is not thoroughly saturated, the wood will burn on the fire; some soak their planks all day). Season the salmon with a pinch of sea salt/fleur de sel, pinch of seasoning salt and lots of black pepper.

Step 2: Place plank on the BBQ over med-hi heat. Let the plank heat up for 5 minutes or so, then lay the salmon on the plank. Depending on the size of the salmon, cook until almost done, roughly 15-20 minutes.
