Chegg

You're probably wondering at this moment, what is a Chegg? You've probably had one at some point in your life, but Adam and I named these grilled cheese sandwiches with a fried egg and bacon a Chegg! Substitute bacon for cooked breakfast sausage too!
Serves 1

Ingredients:

2 slices of bacon or 2 apple breakfast sausage cut in half lengthwise

1 egg

1 slice of cheese

2 slices of whole wheat bread

butter

black pepper

Directions:

Step 1:
In a large frying pan, cook your bacon until crisp. Drain on a piece of paper towel.

Step 2: Take most of the fat out of the frying pan, leaving a little for frying the egg. Crack the egg, season with pepper and cook according to how you like your fried egg.

Step 3: Reserve the egg on a plate. Butter 1 side each of the bread. Lay one piece down, following by the egg, slice of cheese then the bacon or sausage, and then the last piece of bread. Fry on each side until golden brown. ENJOY!
