Donair Sauce

I find this recipe for Donair sauce so much better than the kind you buy at the grocery store. Only add a little bit of sugar at a time, test taste to see if how sweet you like your sauce. Try this sauce when you make Homemade Doniars


1/2 can of evaporated milk (6oz)

1/4 cup of white sugar

1/2 tsp of garlic salt

4 tsp of white vinegar

Directions: In a bowl place the milk and half of the sugar. Add the garlic salt. Mix together and whisk in 1 tsp of vinegar at a time. The vinegar acts as thickener so you may not need all of the vinegar, or you may need more, depending on the consistency trying to achieve. Taste test; it may need a little more sugar.
