Chinese Rice
There is nothing really Chinese about this recipe, but my mother has been making it for a long time. Great for potlucks and a great side to many dishes.
Ingredients:
4 cups of water
2 cups of rice
1/4 cup of soya sauce
can of mushrooms, drained
1 package of Onion Soup Mix
1 Green pepper, diced
1 rib of celery, diced
Directions:
Step 1: Mix everything in a large casserole dish and bake in the oven at 350 F for and hour and a half until rice absorbs everything.
