Sliders with Pesto Mayo

Sliders are fun to eat whether you're having a dinner for 2 or for 20. You can dress them up with condiments and veggies or leave them fairly plain as I do. I prepare basil pesto mayo with my burgers which gives it garlicy, basil goodness.

Makes roughly 25-30 sliders, depending on the size you make them


3 lbs of ground beef

1 egg

1/2 cup of panko bread crumbs (Japanese breadcrumbs)

2 tbsp of Montreal Steak spices

1 tbsp of seasoning salt

1/2 tbsp of black pepper

1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce

mini hamburger buns

Pesto Mayo


Step 1: In a large bowl mix together the beef, egg, breadcrumbs, spices and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and form into small 2.5 X 2.5 inch patty. (I use my kitchen aid stand mixer to mix all the ingredients together).

Step 2: Preheat your BBQ to Medium-hi heat. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.

Step 3: Prepare you pesto mayo. Assemble the sliders with pesto mayo on each side of the bun.

Sliders can be assembled with lettuce, tomato, pickles and 1/2 slice of bacon too!
