Jamie's World Renowned Pepper Spread

2 tbsp of butter
2 tbsp of sugar
2 tbsp of white vinegar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1 pkg of cream cheese (8 oz/250 g), at room temperature
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 red and green bell pepper, chopped
Baguette, for serving
Step 1: In a pot over medium heat, add the butter and allow it to melt. Then add the sugar, eggs, vinegar and salt. After you add each ingredient, stir constantly. Keep stirring until the mixture has nicely thickened.
Step 2: Remove the pot from the heat and add the cream cheese. Whisk until incorporated, making sure there are no lumps. Add the chopped onion and bell peppers; mix well and place in a bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before use.
Serve with sliced baguette.
