Grilled Lime Shrimp

This is a really easy way to serve up some tasty shrimp.  If you are using bamboo skewers, pre-soak them in water for 30 minutes before use. 

Ingredients:

raw, shelled & deveined shrimp

2 cloves of garlic, minced

zest of a lime

juice from 1/2 a lime, reserve the other half

2 tbsp of olive oil

black pepper

seasoning salt

Directions:

Step 1: 
Marinate the shrimp 15-20 minutes before grilling. Place the shrimp, garlic, lime zest and juice and olive oil in a bowl.  Season with black pepper and some seasoning salt. 

Step 2:  Preheat the grill to medium heat.  Skewer the shrimp and place on the grill.  Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or when pink.  Be careful not to over cook the shrimp.

Step 3: Squeeze the other half of the lime over the hot shrimp and serve.
